Profile of the leader- Kim Jong-Un
He was born in January 8, in 1983, so he is 30 years old. He studied at Bern (Switzerland), he speak English and German. He is married with Ri Sol-ju.
Kim Jon Un is the leader of North Korea, the sucessor of Kim Jong Il (his father) and of Kim Jong Sun (his grandfather. Before his elections to follow his father steps, his brother Kim Jong Nam was the favorite of his father to become the heir, but he disappointed his father after trying to enter to Japan without a passport.
His father was a military dictator that was in the power until he died in 2011.
There are many indications were it is said that Kim Jong- Un is following exactly his father steps because violations of human rights have continued by his son. There have been public executions and people have been sent to camps, “political prison camps” and all this ordered by him.

Korea’s Geography
In the year 1945, as a consequence of the Japanese fall at the end of the Second World War, Korea was divided into two parts, North and South Korea.
The Soviet Union and the United States agreed to temporarily occupy each a half of the country. After a while, the United Nations proposed to organize elections in both Koreas. However, the Soviet Union refused to cooperate with the elections; as a result, a communist state was established with the support of the Soviet Union in the North of Korea, and another state was established in the South with the support of the United States.
Both sides, claimed sovereignty over the whole Korea, which lead them to the Korean War for a period of three years (since 1950 to 1953). As a result, the Korean Demilitarized Zone was set up along the 38th parallel north.
It is 250 kilometers long and approximately 4 kilometers wide.
Despite its name, it’s the most heavily militarized border in the world.

ANALYSIS
More than
40thousand soldiers from South Korea and the United States are following
militaries practices in Korea’s peninsula. They both affirm that is part of a
series of military exercises they follow every year to make sure they continue
allied with each other, but their Northern neighbors insist that their purpose
was other. North Korea’s leader Kim-Jong-un said this was only a secret mission
to cover their preparation of a surprise attack.
South Korea
insists they didn’t have that intention but the war has already been declared
by North Korea while their southern neighbor hasn’t responded yet to their
declaration.
North Korea
said that in case of a reckless provocation by part of the United States, their
forces would attack the American continent, the pacific military bases, Hawaii
and Guam, including of course the ones from South Korea.
South Korea
has had always the support of the United States. And this has been always a
great advantage for them, because of the amount of nuclear bombs that the
United States had. North Korea as a communist country, have always been
disapprove by many countries, the United States included. Despite this, it
isn’t convenient to North Korea attack South Korea because of all the nuclear
bombs that the United States may drop in the country, causing a massive
destruction.
On the other
hand, North Korea had always the support of China. In early years, China was
the backup of North Korea, but now it is the other way around. The problem is
that China, doesn’t want to get involved in this war, because its economy will
get affected. So that is a big disadvantage for North Korea.
